Entries for Race over the Glen 2025 are now open. This iconic trail race will be on New Years Day 2025 at Glenariff Forest Park. A special discounted Early Bird Entry is available until the end of September so secure your place early.

Its been another great week for the Club. As well as winning the Broughshane 5 Mile Ladies race Kathleen has set a new club record for 800m. Our Runners have also been in action at The Stanley Reid Memorial, The tough Carnlough Quarry race and the gruelling Seven Sevens in the Mournes…

Monday night saw a strong turnout, and great success, at the Broughshane 5 Mile race. Kathleen Law (Ballymena Runners) won the Ladies race while Jordan Heron (Larne AC) won the Mens race. Top spot in both the Mens and Ladies Team races was won by Ballymena Runners. Find out who won what and see the results…..

July saw Emma Donnelly successfully complete the Carrauntoohill Mountain Race on Ireland’s highest mountain. Meanwhile Alison Foster made her track debut at the Purvis track in Magherafelt finishing 2nd in her race. We also had strong turnouts, and some great times, at the Great Rossa Run and at the Run the Carn race

Just before the schools broke up for summer holidays Ballymena Runners helped three local schools with Colour Runs. Around 500 children, and a few of the staff, from Buick Memorial, Moorfields and The Diamond primary schools took part. A fantastic time was had and everyone who took part received a medal.

Ballymena Runners is delighted to announce that entries for the Broughshane 5 Mile Road Race are now open. The race will be on Monday 5 August at 7pm at the Broughshane Community Centre. There will be no entries on the night so register as soon as you can.

Well done to everyone who completed the Fairhill 5 last night. Nicola Black won the ladies race and our James Hamilton won the mens race. The results are now in.

Last week saw some of our members at the Manchester Marathon, Larne 10 miler, the Hill n Dale series and on the track at the Meadowbank 5000m.
