Colour Runs

As a club with over 350 members Ballymena Runners has a significant reach into local communities. We believe that running is for everyone and that it has many health benefits. We are involved in a wide range of activities in Ballymena and the surrounding towns and villages. Our activities span all ages and involve working with schools, community groups and charities.

We work with a local schools and community groups to organise fun runs, colour runs and races. Requests for Colour runs can be put forward by club members. We will consider all requests but logistically we can only put on so many events each year.

We supply all the equipment, the paint and a Ballymena Runners medal for everyone taking part. There’s no cost for up to around 100 participants. A colour run can be a great activity as part of fundraising activities.

In 2025 we are planning Colour Runs with

• Slemish College 20 June (pm)

• Ballymena Rugby Club 28 June (pm)

• Ballymena United Learning Disability Team (TBA)
