Route
Details of the route will be made available before the race.
Preparing for the race
This is a technical and challenging trail race over 10 kilometres. Prior to the race, you should already be capable of comfortably running non-stop on the road for a minimum of 10km and be confident on technical terrain.
Please follow the direction of the tail runners who may have to advise you to exit from the course to protect your own safety and the safety of our course marshals. In this instance please do not cross the finish line but speak to a member of the race team to receive your medal.
Car Share and Parking
We encourage runners, friends, and family to car share to minimise the race’s carbon footprint and help us accommodate such a large field. Parking is available at Ballee Park and Ride - Ballymena, ECOS Park and Ballymena Leisure Centre.
We have been afforded additional parking places in ‘Parkmore Forest – Touring in the Trees’. This is directly opposite Glenariff Forest Park main entrance and is a short walk to the start (10-15mins). The ‘Touring in Trees’ car park will be used along with the main forest car park. Carparking in Glenariff Forest Park will be prioritised for those car sharing. Runners, who travel solo may be directed to park in the Parkmore Forest – Touring in Trees - so please arrive early.
Car park marshals will direct you to an appropriate car park - race organisers kindly ask that runners cooperate with the car park marshals instructions.
Transfers / Deferrals
There will be no refunds or deferrals. Transfers / Name changes can be facilitated online until the entry closing date.
