Manchester Marathon 2024
Six club members travelled to Manchester for the annual Adidas Manchester Marathon running along 32,000 other competitors on a warm and breezy day. Some fantastic running from all clubs members but special mention to Pablo McClurkin who completed his 1st marathon in a fantastic time of 4:13:20
PB’s & season best's followed all round from other club members on a fantastically organised & enjoyable marathon. Also big thanks to supporters Shelley, Katy and Molly (who surprised daddy at mile 26, not an inkling they were coming!)

Larne AC 10 mile race
Massive well done to all Ballymena Runners who travelled down to the Antrim coast for the Larne AC 10 mile road race. A straight in and out, fast, flat route along the coast road.
Weather conditions, well let’s say a mixture of seasons, sun, rain and just a bit windy nothing like a gale force wind pushing against you, that didn’t stop us hardy runners with some amazing times and PBs set.

Hill n Dale Series (Race 2)
Once more, the ever-popular Newcastle AC series continues to attract new Ballymena Runners each year. This year was no exception with three new runners travelling to the Kingdom of Mourne.
Last week saw Sarah, Richard and Claire compete in the series opener – ‘Castlewellan’.
This week Richard and Claire toed the line for race 2 - ‘White Plains’. This week the off road athletes raced 4.3 miles and climbed 800 feet in and around the trails of Tollymore Forest Park. Well done!
BRAC Runners at 5K Meadowbank
On Friday night some Ballymena Runners travelled the short distance to Magherafelt to take part in Purvis Running friendly 5,000M track event.
A beautiful evening and an excellent turnout in each of the 4 races with all our runners doing themselves and the Club proud, we had 4 track PBs on the night.
