Ballymena Runners were delighted to help Slemish College with a fun filled afternoon that saw around 100 pupils and staff taking part in a Colour Run. It was a stunningly beautiful day and fortunately an ice cream van was on hand to keep everyone cool. The afternoon included a bun sale and raised £1,245 for Alzheimer’s Society.

Deborah Thompson from Slemish College organised the event said:
On Friday, our Year 10 and 11 students kicked off their Senior School journey in the most vibrant way with a spectacular ‘Colour Run’ in aid of Alzheimer’s Society.
This cause is especially close to our hearts, having touched both staff and students in recent times. The event was not only great fun, but also a celebration of community and a great way to raise money for a worthwhile cause. We raised a fantastic total of £1,245 for the Alzheimer’s Society.
A huge thank you to Ballymena Runners, Cindy Robinson Photography, Sysco, and Syds Ice Cream for their generous support and helping bring the event to life.
