The wintery weekend weather wasn't enough to stop a few hardy souls from Ballymena Runners making their way to Lough Fea to compete in the second race in the Sperrin Harriers Winter Trail Series on Saturday.
Well done to everyone who completed the Race over the Glen today. The Ladies race was won by Aine Gosling and the Mens by Timothy Johnston. Glens Runners won both the the Male and Female Team prizes.

Runners are delighted to announce details for ‘Race Over The Glen’ on Thursday 1st January 2026 at noon. Entries are now open. Starting on Sunday 16th November we will be running 6 weeks training on the course so come and join us - all visitors welcome..
This will be the 30th anniversary of Race over the Glen. To mark the occasion a Special 30th Anniversary entry will be available which includes Long-sleeved Technical T-shirt celebrating 30 years of Race Over The Glen.

An absolutely fantastic turnout for our club target race at GRC5k on Friday evening in Glenarm!
Brilliant to see so many Ballymena Runners taking on the scenic route from Carnlough to Glenarm.
It’s known for being one of the fastest 5k races and a lot of great times were recorded by our runners including a number of PBs. Congratulations to all .
Its been a great week of racing with our Ladies claiming a 1,2,3 at Rathlin 5K and Joshua Blair winning the Mens. We also secured podium polaces at the Broughshane 5 Mile race and at Armoy XC and there were strong performances at Scrabo and in Portrush. Well done everyone taking part.
