Cosy Sofa is back for 2026!
Ballymena Runners are delighted to announce that our ever-popular Cosy Sofa programme returns in January 2026!
The programme will start on Tuesday 6th January 2026 at 7:00pm. It will be in The Sports Zone Hall in the new Northern Regional College (NRC) in Ballymena. Parking is available at Ballymena Showgrounds via St. Patrick’s Link (just a short stroll to NRC)
Whether you’re completely new to running or just looking for a fun, friendly group to get moving again — this 8-week programme is for everyone! By the end, you’ll be confidently running for 30 minutes (or maybe even tackling a 5k parkrun!)
It costs £25 for the full 8 weeks — and here’s what you get:
Two extra weekly runs with trained, supportive leaders
Guidance and encouragement from our experienced club members
A Ballymena Runners high-viz technical T-shirt (on completion)
A shiny Ballymena Runners medal to mark your achievement
A fun celebration and graduation evening to wrap it all up!
