Treadmill challenge raises £866 for Children’s Hospice

Ballymena Runners has raised £866 for the NI Children’s Hospice through a treadmill challenge.  The fundraiser took place over two days at Lifestyle Fitness. Members of the club, and many other runners and walkers, kept two treadmills busy for twelve hours each day.

Club member and event organiser Stephen Brown said:
“Ballymena Runners is very much based in the local community and does much to support it.  We are delighted to run a fantastic activity that has raised £866 for the Children’s Hospice.

My thanks go to everyone who took part in the challenge or who made donations. A big thanks to everyone in Ballymena Runners, Moorfields Primary School, Diamond Primary School and other sports clubs who took part.

I’d like to thank Lifestyle Fitness for supporting the challenge by providing all the equipment and facilities.  The staff and members have been really supportive of this great fundraising activity.”
