Hill n Dale No. 4 – Slieve Binnian
Thursday night (1st May) marked the fourth showdown in the Hill n Dale race series—and this one had a twist: it was all uphill!
Wills, Nigel, and the plastic population took on the relentless climb—2.2 miles with a gruelling 1,850 feet of ascent.
Their effort was rewarded with breathtaking views over Silent Valley, basking in golden light on a glorious evening in the Mournes.
Kudos to the bros once again!

When the Ballymena Belles took the Purple Ladies by storm!
A team of 45 Ballymena Runners took to the paths and parks of Ballymoney on Wednesday evening to compete in the annual Purple Ladies 5k Race.
In a superbly organised race hosted by our friends in Springwell, runners were treated to a scenic yet challenging course starting at the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre. A balmy 20°C evening and an uphill finish added to the fun!
It proved to be a successful outing for the Ballymena Ladies, with both Alison Foster and Moira McBride picking up Age Category prizes.
A special mention to the recent Cosy Sofa graduates, for many of whom this was their first race.
Thanks to everyone at Springwell for a great evening of running and for such wonderful hospitality!

Ballymena were delighted to announce the signings of Lynass, Ratner, Moore, Bankhead and Robinson for the 2025/26 season, ahead of their much-anticipated excursion to the so-called "Theatre of Dreams."
While the host club may have been dreaming indeed—as they appeared to fall asleep at the wheel—Ballymena’s formidable front three ensured that "You'll Never Run Alone." With style and swagger, they stormed the fallen barracks of Old Trafford to claim victory once again!

The excitement was palpable as we approached the start line outside the iconic Old Trafford stadium, home of Manchester United.
It was a difficult day as it got progressively hotter throughout the day, but the gruelling 26.2 miles was made easier by the hospitality of the people of Manchester as they handed out fresh fruit, sweets and extra water. They also went above and beyond with spraying runners with much needed water outside houses and amazing signs and cheers.
With temperatures reaching 22 degrees, everyone felt extra proud of their achievement crossing the finishing line. Well done everyone!
